IPL 2024 has given India another set of young players who can make their debut in the next few months and serve India in the long term. From All-rounders to fast bowlers, a lot of exciting young Indian talent was seen in the recently concluded IPL.
In this article, we will discuss the 5 uncapped cricketers from the recent IPL who are likely to represent India in the International arena.
Table of Contents
#5 Mayank Yadav
Mayank Yadav from Lucknow SuperGiants became the pace sensation of India. The young Indian pacer made his debut against PBKS and consistently bowled above 150 kmph.
His raw pace and consistent line and lengths helped him win consecutive Player of the Match awards. He took 7 wickets from 4 matches for LSG.
Mayank suffered a muscle tear during the match against MI, and he missed all of the remaining LSG matches following his injury. BCCI will have a task to manage his workload and keep him fit.
#4 Shashank Singh
Shashank Singh played for Punjab Kings in the IPL 2024 and impressed everyone with his six-hitting ability. Most importantly, he can play under pressure.
In the IPL 2024, he smashed 354 runs at a strike rate of 164. Shashank regularly bowls in the domestic circuit, and when given a chance to bowl for PBKS, he also took a wicket.
Shashank is not a youngster—he is 32 years old—but his abilities make him a contender for the finisher role in the Indian team.

#3 Abhishek Sharma
The aggressive opener of Sunrisers Hyderabad should be making his India debut soon, considering the fact that he is a top-order bat who can bowl for his team consistently.
Abhishek scored 484 runs this season at a strike rate of 204, and he scored 3 fifties, too.
He also smashed 41 sixes in the IPL 2024, the most by an Indian in the tournament’s history.
#2 Harshit Rana
In KKR’s IPL win, Harshit Rana played a huge role; he took 19 wickets from just 12 matches, and in the final, too, he took 2 wickets.
Harshit has impressed everyone with his hit-the-deck bowling. He has a great slower bowl and can nail Yorkers perfectly.
Above all, the death-over specialist did not get a single chance to bat this season. Still, in first-class cricket, he averages 49 and has a century and a fifty to his name, which makes him a contender for the bowling all-rounder slot in the Indian team.
#1 Riyan Parag
Riyan Parag has been with RR since 2019, but his last two seasons were very poor, and many questions were raised about his place.
He decided to answer all the critics with his bat. He scored 573 runs at an average of 52 and was the best RR batter this year.
Riyan, too, can contribute to the bowl. He has the ability to play under pressure; his knocks against MI, DC, and RCB in the eliminator were the prime example of that.
