Apart from the revenue generated through several high-profile sponsorships, the broadcasting and streaming rights fetches the league a humongous revenue and it is said to be amongst the top when measured with the other major sporting leagues.

The rights are sold through the method of competitive bidding process and are divided into different modes (Television and Digital) to maximize revenue. BCCI conducts an open auction where companies bid of these rights.

The transfer of these rights happen at regular intervals and the current right holders will be enjoy the collaboration with IPL for the cycle 2023-2027.

Here is how the IPL broadcasting and streaming rights are structured for the 2023-2027.
