CVC (Corporate Venture Capital) Capital Partners is the owner of Gujarat Titans. The company deals in private equity and is an investment advisory firm. The firm has dealt in sports investment before, which has helped them acquire the services of the best players.

Punjab Kings’ owners consist of Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, businessman Mohit Burman, who owns Dabur and Aviva Life Insurance, businessman Karan Paul, who owns Apeejay Surrendra Group, and businessman Ness Wadia, who is the Managing Director of Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation.
Collectively, the owners form the board of KPH Dream Cricket Private Limited, which controls the franchise. The team hasn’t had enough success in the history of the tournament, as it has made it to the playoffs just twice.
9. Rajasthan Royals | Owner: The Royal Sports Group
Manoj Badale is the founder of venture capitalist firm Blenheim Chalcot, who also owns the Rajasthan Royals franchise team. He also owns Royal Sports Group (Emerging Media Sporting Holdings Ltd).
Amisha Hathiramani, Ryan Tkalcevic, and Lachlan Murdoch are other co-owners. The team has so far won 1 IPL trophy in 2008.
10. Sunrisers Hyderabad | Owner: SUN Group
Sunrisers Hyderabad team is owned by the owner of Sun TV network, Kalanithi Maran. Kavya Kalanithi Maran is his daughter and also manages the franchise team. The team has won 1 IPL trophy in 2016.
